Jamie Morris Bass, age 51, of Orrum, NC, passed away at Scotland Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Jamie was born in Robeson County, NC on December 5, 1972 to the late James Bass and Betty Milligan Bass.
Jamie was a Probation Officer in Robeson County. He loved spending time with his family and playing golf. He was a member of Mt. Elim Baptist Church in Orrum.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Jessica Bass; daughter, Anna Bass; son, Lee Pate; brother, Chris Bass; and special nieces, Amanda Lewis, Sara Huggins, and Khrista Hardee.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Mt. Elim Baptist Church, 645 N. Creek Road in Orrum, NC at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, at Mt. Elim Baptist Church, 645 N. Creek Road in Orrum, NC. Rev. James Graham will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.
