Naomi Logan Bass
PINCKNEYVILLE ? Naomi Logan Bass, age 85, of Pinckneyville, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1992, at 11:14 p.m. in Southeast Missouri Hospital, Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Naomi was born in Pinckneyville on Aug. 31, 1907, the daughter of Enoch F. and Cora (Gregory) Logan. She married Laverne M. Bass on Dec. 31, 1922, and he survives. She was a Tupperware salesman, member of the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, a charter member of the Southern Illinois Genealogy Society and the Beaucoup Creek chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Pamela Jean Beirman of Pinckneyville; two granddaughter, Leslie Bierman and Lori Henseler; one great-grandson, Hachary Bierman. She was preceded in death by her parents, two half sisters and one half brother.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, 1992, at 4 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Rook officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
Friends may call at the Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, today from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., then at the church until services.
Memorial may be made to the Carmi Baptist Children?s Home.
