  Notes	Mae Nannette Bass Harris Written by Press-Tribune Staff Friday, 17 October 2008 Mae Nannette Bass Harris was called home to be with her Lord on October 15, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Bass; son, Tommy, and husband, Howard Harris. Mrs. Harris is survived by her son, Jimmy Bass and wife Mary of Bossier City; two granddaughters, Teri Bass and Cathy Wiley both of Bossier City; three grandsons, Mike Bass of Shreveport, Paul Bass, Thomas Bass both of Bossier City; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Airline Baptist Church. She retired from the V. A. Medical Center. She taught nursing at Southern University, Northwestern University, and LSU in Alexandria, LA. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, October 18, 2008, 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Officiating will be Chaplain Debbie Woods. The family will receive visitors from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3717 Government Street, Ste #7, Alexandria, LA 71302.
