Raymond was born on September 20, 1959 in South Bend to Raymond Melvin and Betty Ruth (Leonard) Bass. He was preceded in death by his parents. On February 17, 1983 in Decatur, IL he married the former Lorie Kuhns. She survives along with two brothers, Johnny (Susan) Bass of Mishawaka and Ronnie (Kerrie) Bass of Osceola. Raymond was an extreme Cubs Fan; he enjoyed nature especially the Ocean and loved to travel; he made it to all but eight states. As per Raymond's request, there will be no formal services.
