William Bass
William Ralph Bass, 59, of Mineral Point died Feb. 8 in Columbia. He was born Oct. 24, 1930 in Irondale to the late Lloyd and Cora Pyatt Bass. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Marie Bass; one son, Adam Ralph Bass, one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Bass was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by three sons; Lloyd Bass of Irondale, Elmer Bass of Dupo, Ill., and Boyd Bass of Rockford, Ill.; one daughter, Cynthia Bass of Richland Center, Wis., and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation begins Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gum and Son Funeral Home in Potosi. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in Gum and Son Chapel with Rev. Dale Barton officiating. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery in Frankclay.
