Barney C. Bass, 68, of Saint Cloud, FL passed away on June 3, 2023 at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on March 2, 1955 to Keetly and Dorothy (Allen) Bass in Kissimmee, FL. Barney worked as an Equipment Operator in the construction industry. He graduated from St. Cloud High School in 1973. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son; Daniel Nelsen. Barney enjoyed the outdoors (especially Three Lakes), working, spending time with his family, dancing on the porch and watching Bob Ross with Pedro. Barney was and always will be a legend to all who knew him Barney is survived by his loving family; wife, Jill Ann Bass of St. Cloud, FL; sons, Quentin Bass of St. Cloud, FL, Shane (Jennifer) Bass of St. Cloud, FL, Kaylon Bass of St. Cloud, FL, Charles (Reva) Carr of Kissimmee, FL, Joseph (Kate) Gargan of CT, Samuel Nelsen of Ruskin, FL; Daughter, Gabrielle (Anthony) Garone of Lake Wales, FL; sisters, Mella (John) Jacobs of Burnsvile, NC, Virginia Allen of St. Cloud, FL and brother, Lewis Bass of St. Cloud, FL.Barney is also survived by his beloved dog Pedro and dear friends, Dawn Nicholson and Brad Vinson as well as 14 grandchildren; Kara, Hayley, C.J., Lindsey, Brandan, Logan, Bianca, Brantleigh, Brynn, Maeve, Nellie, Isabella, Samaria and Daniella. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Saturday June 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM all in the chapel of Osceola Memory Gardens, St. Cloud.
