Will Book 5, page 180.
Direct that his estate be kept intact until son William Edward Bass arrives to twenty-one years of age.
Legatees:
Wife Mary to be given privilege of living on his plantation as long as she remained his widow.
Son William Edward Bass, to whom he willed the trace of land on which he was then living, together with his part of the mill; also his tract of land in Chesterfield County on Turkey Branch, and one-half of his personal estate, plus one-half of what is due the estate and monies on hand when said son reached age of 21 years.
Daughter Ann Giles Bass, willed other half of personal estate and other half of monies on hand and of debts due the estate at the time son William Edward Bass arrives at the age of 21 years.
Executors (bonded for $30,000): Wife, Mary Bass; friend Richard Archer; and son William Edward Bass.
