Meta Bass Harding
Mrs. Harding of Monroe, formerly of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2004, at Hospice of Union County. She was 87.
Mrs. Harding was born October 19, 1916 in Jessup, GA, to the late Leith and Alma Tindall Stewart. She was retired as a nursing assistant. Mrs. Harding was preceded in death by husbands Willis G. Bass, Jr. and Kenenth G. Harding.
Mrs. Harding is survived by a son, Willis G. Bass, III and wife, Linda of Indian Trail and three grandchildren, Karen Greene of Asheville, Susan Hearld of Cornelius, and Bill Bass of Fletcher, NC; six great-grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Union County, 700 Roosevelt Blvd. West, Monroe, NC 28110.
