Eleanor Bullock Weds Mr. Bass
FAIRMONT, Dec. 23 ? Miss Eleanor Bullock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bullock, and Fleming Delano Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.F. Bass, were married today at 6 p.m. in Baltimore Baptist Church by Dr. Hugh A. Brimm pastor.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride had her sister, Miss Gloria Bullock for maid of honor. The bridegroom?s sisters, Miss Norma Dell Bass and Miss Laura bass, were bridesmaids with Miss Catherine Ford and Miss Alice Faye Hayes. Betty Lynn Fulk, the bride?s niece, was flower girl.
The bridegroom had Frederick Behlear of Crosswick, N.J., for best man. Ushers were Hubert Davis, O.F. Green, D.C. Bass and Kirmit T. Barnhill.
The bride wore a white gown of satin and rose point lace. Her fingertip veil of matching lace was attached to a Juliet cap. She carried a white orchid on a satin-covered Bible.
The maid of honor wore a waltz-length gown of pale blue iridescent taffeta. The bridesmaids were in shaded of copper and royal blue. All attendants carried silver muffs with red carnations attached. The flower girl work pale blue nylon organdy. All the dresses were designed by the bride?s mother.
The couple will make their home in Thomasville. The bride attended Watkins Institute in Nashville, Tenn. Mr. Bass attended East Carolina College in Greenville and is in the furniture manufacturing business in Thomasville.
