Born October 5, 1925 in Princeton, NC to the late John D. and Eula Mae Casey Bass, she was the widow of James Claude Eason, who died February 1, 2006 and was preceded in death by a son, John Eason, a daughter, Betty Finez, a brother, James Bass and two sisters, Rosa Kornegay and Patricia Garris.A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. just prior to the service at Parrish Funeral Home.Surviving are her son, James Claude Eason, Jr. and wife Mary of Wilson's Mills; brother, John Bass of Summerville, SC; sister, Sadie Edmundson of Goldsboro; son-in-law, Bob Finez of Cary; daughter-in-law, Carol Eason of Selma; grandchildren, Robbie Finez, David Finez, Jon Finez, Kimberly "Joy" Boone, Timmy Eason, Brian Eason and Tammy Baker; thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
