Bass A graveside service for Willa Wall Bass, 92, of Woodbine will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Oakgrove Cemetery in St. Marys with the Rev. Mike Ricker officiating. She died Tuesday in the Medical Arts Center in Brunswick. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Bass II, Charles Wombie, C.C. Higginbotham Jr., James C. Higginbotham, Mike Padgett and Mar Bouie. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight. Surviving are three sons, Mitchell W. Bass Jr. of Savannah, Ed Bass of Atlanta and Franklin C. Bass of Woodbine; one daughter, Glorida Padgett of Highlands, N.C.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The Marion County native had lived in Woodbine for 45 years, moving there from Brunswick. She was a homemaker, a member of the Woodbine Womans Club and a member of the Woodbine United Methodist Church. Dekle-Wainwright Funeral Home of Kingsland is in charge of arrangements.
