Rose Koenigbauer Bass
Rose Koenigbauer Bass, age 96 years young, died September 19, 2012. Rose was a long-time resident of Clinton Township and Detroit. Most recently, she resided at Oakmont Parkway in Clinton Township. Rose was born January 14, 1916 in Saskatchewan, Canada to immigrant parents, Emili (Maier) and Edward Koenigbauer. Rose was the last surviving daughter of eight children. Rose is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 70 years, Milton, and her loving children, Marilyn Wozniacki, Gayle Loepp, Kathleen (David) FitzPatrick of Farmington, CT., and Paul (Garie) Bass. She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Throughout her life, Rose was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. The family would like to express its deep appreciation for the loving care provided by The Medical Team and staff at Oakmont Parkway and Heartland Hospice Services. Funeral Friday 11:00am at St. Hubert Catholic Church (38775 Prentiss, Harrison Twp. - south off Metro Parkway just west of Jefferson). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rose's honor would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
