Anne Bass Hendrix
Anne Bass Hendrix, 93, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born April 21, 1930, to the late Art and Lola Bass. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and loved gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Milton Hendrix and her brother Bill Bass of Charleston, South Carolina.
Surviving are her two sons, Donald Hendrix (Jill) and David Hendrix, both of Savannah; her brother, Stan Bass (Sabrina) of San Diego, California; Stan's sons, Steven (Sara), Shannon (Pam), and Scott (Katrina); Great nieces and nephews, Sam, Nick, Angus, Sally, Hank, Owen; Tessa on Stan's side; Eric, Julianne, Lauren on Bill's side; Sister-in-law Annette Bass; Step-grandchildren, Kyle (Molly) and Kris Deason; and one step-great-grandchild, Riley Deason.
Graveside service was on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in Bonaventure Cemetery.
