  Notes	Providence Journal, Rhode Island, Sunday, March 15, 1987 Alfred H. Bassett Alfred "Harry" H. Bassett, 106, of 39 Division St., a worker at Hudson's Manufacturing Co. and H.F. Barrows Jewelry Co. before retiring, died yesterday at Ridgewood Court Nursing Home, Attleboro. He was the husband of Bertha M. (Griffiths) Bassett. Born in Hinckley, Leicestershire, England, a son of the late Walter and Emma E. (Holland) Bassett, he had lived in North Attleboro 80 years and had been awarded the Boston Post Cane for being the oldest living resident of the town. Mr. Bassett was a British Army veteran of World War I and attended the First United Methodist Church. He was a member of Aurora Lodge No. 107 of the International Order of Odd Fellows and right supporter to the vice grand. His wife is his only immediate survivor. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Edward A. Dyer Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave., Attleboro Falls. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery, Plainville.
