  Notes	Tyler Morning Telegraph, June 1, 2018 Robert R. Bassett Robert (Bob) R. Bassett. Passed away on May 19th, 2018. He was born October 14, 1921 in Easton, Pa. Bob served as one of the very first Frog Men in the Navy. He served for Underwater Demolition during world war II, stationed in the Pacific. He was employed by General Electric for 50 years. He is survived by his wife Barbara and a son, Robert Bassett. He continued thru life to be an excellent diver and he and his wife Barbara enjoyed this port thru their married life. Bob?s body was donated to Medcure for medical science.
