Jerald Franklin, 78, of Wilson, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Black Creek United Methodist Church with Pastor Dede Pickle officiating. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Shingleton Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Claude Bass.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Webb Bass of the home; daughter, Denise B. Poythress, and husband, Chris, of Wilson; son, Jerald Franklin Bass Jr., and husband, Phillip Bass, of Durham; sisters, Joyce Holloman and Barbara Hill, both of Wilson; grandchildren, Summer, Drew, Christopher and Brock; and great-grandchildren, Bentley and Maddox.
