Death of Mrs. Mary A. Bass
Mrs. Mary A. Bass, relict of William Bass, of Powhatan county, died at her home, 1201 Bainbridge street at 4:15 o?clock yesterday afternoon. She was 75 years old, and is survived by two children ? Messrs. Floyd W. and Leigh K. Bass.
Mrs. Bass was a resident of manchester for about twent-one years, having come here after the death of her husband. She also leaves several grandchildren.
The funeral will take place from the home at 3:30 o?clock this afternoon. The burial will be in Maury Cemetery.
Mrs. Bass Dies
Mrs. Mary A. Bass, widow of the late William Bass, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, Mr. F.W. Bass, No. 1201 Bainbridge Street, at the age of seventy-five years. She had been ill for about five months, and while her death was not a surprise to the immediate family, it was no less a shock to her numerous friends throughout the city. She had been a resident of Manchester for twenty-one years, moving here from Powhatan county. Two children survive her, Messrs. F.W. and L.A. Bass, both of this city.
