Born Sept. 11, 1954, he was the son of Opal Singletary Bass and the late Milton Howard Bass. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Howard Bass. Mr. Bass is survived by his mother, Opal Singletary Bass; sons, Ronald Wayne Bass and Jimmy Dale Bass; daughter, Brandy Renee Mullis; and brothers, Bobby N. Bass, Roger L. Bass, Ray E. Bass and Robert K. Bass. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, at Catawba Memorial Park, with the Rev. Michael Rolland officiating.
