Funeral Services Conducted Sunday For Mrs. Rebecca Bass
Mrs. Rebecca Bass, 84, of Sour lake, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday in Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kountze.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday n the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn A. Dromgoole, pastor, officiating.
Burial, under the direction of the pace-Wells Funeral Home of Kountze, was in the Rosedale Cemetery here.
Pallbearers were Plummer Barfield, Dwight Theriot, Jack Wimberly, Alva Richardson, T.H. Theriot and J.L. Branch.
Mrs. Bass had been a resident of Sour Lake for 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, W.L. Bass of Sour lake; a daughter, Mrs. G.W. Morris of Longview; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
