- Bride at Marriage Ceremony Conducted At California Church

The marriage of Miss Laura Cater, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Carter, Hutchins; to Leo Bass, Los Angeles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allie Bass, Hutchins, took place Friday, June 26, at high noon at the First Church Church, Huntington Park, Los Angeles.
The bride wore a blue woolen suit with a white taffeta blouse. Her accessories were blue. She wore a shoulder bouguet of white orchids.
Mr. and Mrs. Lance Floyd, Los angeles, attended the couple. Mrs. Floyd wore a pink crepe suit with white accessories and her flowers were a corsage of mixed sweet peas.
Mr. and Mrs. Bass left after the ceremony for Long Beach to spend several days.
