Nichols, 89, life-time Dallas County resident and member of a pioneer Texas family, died at her residence, 4224 Stanford, Tuesday after an extended illness. Her sons formerly held the taxicab franchise here. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Bass, Mrs. Nichols was born at Hutchins in 1867. She had lived in Dallas for more than 40 years and was a member of the East Dallas Christian Church.
