Bass, 71, resident of Dallas thirty years, who died Sunday night at his home, 820 East Twelfth street, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the home, with the Rev. Paul Preston, pastor of Oak Cliff Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Hutchins. Mr. Bass was a member of Oak Cliff Christian Church and the Woodmen of the World. He was a contractor. Surviving are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. J.E. Wilson, Mrs. R.H. Creel, Mrs. E.M. Langley and Mrs. W.B. Bolinger; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Floyd and Mrs. Ida Nichols; two brothers Elly and Ally Bass; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
