  Notes	The Goldsboro Headlight, North Carolina, December 28, 1893 A Young Lady Shot Our Warsaw correspondent reports the accidental shooting of Miss Clyde Bass, the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. Rufus Bass, postmaster there, which occurred Tuesday at Newbury & Barden?s store. Miss Bass was doing some trading, and while examining a piece of goods accidentally touched a gun which was leaning against the counter, causing it to fall and discharge. The entire load took effect in her left foot which which had to be amputated at the ankle. At this writing Miss Bass is in a critical condition.
