Fort Mill, South Carolina - Mrs. Elizabeth Culp "Lib or Libby" Bass, age 95, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at her home.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on April 8, 2021 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church, with the Pastor Becky Shirley officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery.
Born in Pineville, N.C. Libby was a lifetime resident of Fort Mill, S.C. Libby enjoyed crossword puzzles, quilting and gardening. She was a lifelong member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thornwell H. and Ocey H. Culp; her husband Howard G. Bass; her grandchild Nichole A. Bass; and her 5 siblings. Libby is survived by her sons, Kenneth Wayne Bass and Laurence K. Bass; her grandchildren, Marie V. Broome, Jonathan K. Bass, Wendy D. Nye and Ashley B. Carter; and her 5 great grandchildren; her niece, Tenita Reid; and her friend and caretaker, Kathleen Lawrence.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 7th from 6 - 8 p.m. at Wolfe Funeral Home, 314 Spratt Street, Fort Mill, S.C.
