He was a son of the late Earl Elwood and Daisy Bass Sr. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Bass; son, Thomas Bass jr.; daughter, Deborah Crompton; brother, Earl Bass Jr.; sister, Dorothy Hancock; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
