Leigh Eric Bass, 59, of West Fork, Ark., passed away on Dec. 28, 2023. He was surrounded by family and friends after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Little Rock on March 19, 1964, to James and Mary Bass, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his precious wife Shawn; his three sons, Hayden Bass and Logan Bass of Conway, and Jacob Bass of Prairie Grove; his sister, Cheryl Williams (Paul) of Little Rock; one granddaughter, Gracelyn; a great many nephews, nieces, and cousins; and a wonderful "bonus" family that he gained eight years ago when he found the love of his life, Shawn. A Celebration of Life will be held at Oak Cliff Baptist Church, Ft. Smith, Ark. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. There will be a time for visiting with the family after the service.
