Bass
Margaret Jones Bass, 79, of 1306 Timothy, died Thursday, September 2, 1999, at Duke University Medical Center. She was a native of Durham.
Surviving are her husband, Albernard Bass, of Durham; two sons, Al Bass, Jr. and Luke Bass, both of Durham; four daughters, Doris Bass Eurquhart, Vicki Bass Heath, and Donna Bass Rosser, all of Durham, and Marcia Bass Love, of Chandler, Ariz; fur sisters, Madge Jones Bridges, Doris Jones Daye, and Pauline Jones Grayson, all of Durham, and Ruth Jones Moore, of Chicago; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 7, 1999, at 1:00 p.m. at Northeast Baptist Church, by pastor J.W. Freeman. Burial will be in Markham Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be September 6, 1999, 7-8 p.m. at Scarborough & Hargett Memorial Chapel.
