Bass - Mr. Luke E. Bass, of 26-B Ridgeway Avenue, died Monday night at the Veterans Administration Hospital. The body has been moved to the Scarborough & Hargett Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Luke Emerson Bass of 2-B Ridgeway Avenue will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Northeast Baptist Church by the Reverend T.R. Cole. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He died Monday at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie P. Bass; a daughter, Mrs. Julia Harris of Creedmoor; five sons, the Reverend Albernard B. and James Bass, both of Durham, Leroy of Wilmington, Delaware, Sylvester of Brooklyn, New York, and Douglas Bass of Asbury, New Jersey; a brother, Andrew Bass of Asbury; a sister, Mrs. Mary F. Council of Durham County; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
