Ms. Saundra Gail Harris Bass, aged 77, of Bonifay, Florida formerly of Milton, Florida, passed away December 14, 2023, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. She was born on July 6, 1946, in Jacksonville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, R.D. Harris, her mother, Jean Marion Mason Samuelson, and stepfather, Harry A. Samuelson, brother, Ronald Donahue "Buddy" Harris, niece, Layla Harris, and a great-grandson, Trevin.
Saundra retired from Westinghouse where she excelled in her trade as a welder. She enjoyed the visits from her children and grandchildren at her rural country home in Holmes County, Florida. Her love for animals was evident in the bond she had with all pets, especially her beloved cats.
Ms. Bass is survived by one son, Brett Zan Bass, and one daughter, Brandie Bass Scott: both of Milton, Florida. She is also survived by three grandsons, Brett Andrew "Drew" Bass and Althea, Camrin Zan Bass and Valentina, Dylan Wayne Scott: niece, Dawn Harris: along with three great-grandchildren, Zane, Tredin, and Whitley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m.
