Eunice Blake Bass
CHADBOURN ? Eunice Blake Bass, 84, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville.
She was the daughter of the late Garcie and Gladys Bullard Blake and the widow of Roger Ray Bass. She was also preceded in death by two children, Roger Ray Bass Jr. and Toni Bass Stone; and two siblings, Andrew Gilbert Blake and G. Linton Blake.
Final rites were held Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Chadbourn Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Danny Russell and Rev. C.F. McDowell III officiating. Interment was in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Donald Ray Bass (Alice) and Larry L. Bass (Lola), both of Chadbourn; three sisters, Magdalene B. Duran of Holden Beach, Brenda B. Sasser of Chadbourn and Yolanda B. Potter of Holden Beach; four grandchildren, Judi B. Horne, Lori B. Gelezinsky, Natasha B. Dyson, Eric Bass; 10 great-grandchildren, Brady Gelezinsky, Kaylyn Horne, Erica Jade Bass, Layla Gelezinsky, Coleman Blake Bass, Benny Hewett III, Casandra Sapp, Chuck Thompson, Shawn Chance Chase Dyson, Anna Grace Dyson; and one great-great-grandchild, Chuck Thomspon Jr.
