Nona Lennon Bass
SUMMERFIELD - Nona Lennon Bass, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents Cade and Ruth Russ Lennon; her husband of 64 years, Blease Bass; and four sisters, and one brother.
Surviving is her daughter, Teresa Garlick of Summerfield; three grandsons; one sister, Linda Brisson of Dublin; two brothers, Lloyd Lennon of Winston Salem and Bobby Lennon of Bladen County.
A funeral service was conducted at 5 p.m.
Thursday, April 28, at Waughtown Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Brackett officiating.
The family received friends following the service at the church.
A grave side service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Galeed Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro.
