Mark Alan Bass, age 59, of Bethlehem, WV passed away at home October 23, 2025.
He was born September 17, 1966 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late John ?Jack? Arthur and Charlotte Katherine Rothermund Bass.
Mark was a welder for 32 years at Swisher International; enjoyed hunting, fishing, men?s softball, cutting grass, and was a member of the PAP Club. He was an excellent father and the hardest working man you knew.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Colleen Kudlak Bass; three children, Hannah Elizabeth Bass Sheldon and her husband Cody Sheldon of Bethlehem, WV, Tanner Alan Bass (Morgan Graham) of Bethlehem, WV, Garrett Keith Bass (Mikayla Rebecca) of Bethlehem, WV; beloved dogs Ed and Eli; sisters, Lisa Oliver (Chuck Parker) of Triadelphia, WV, Susan (Michael) Thomas of Wheeling, WV; several nieces and nephews; and many devoted friends.
Family will receive friends Friday October 31, 2025 from 4:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 1 Ridgecrest Rd Wheeling/Bethlehem, WV.
Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
