Isaac Lester Bass, Jr.
June 14, 1952 ? February 4, 2022
Isaac ?Bud? Lester Bass, Jr. of Wilson, 69, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022. He was the son of the late Isaac ?Lester? and Mildred Ruffin Bass also of Wilson. He is survived by his son, Isaac ?Les? Lester Bass III and wife Elizabeth of Elm City, his sister Joyce Bass of Fuquay-Varina and his brother David Bass and fiancé Jeanine Brown, of Apex. He is also loved and will be remembered by other family members and friends.
Bud was a graduate of Ralph L. Fike High School where he excelled in baseball and pole vaulting. He was a welder for various companies for over 40 years. He enjoyed his home and yard work as well as detailing his vehicles. He also loved NASCAR and was an avid fan of the late Dale Earnhardt.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, at 12:00PM in the Chapel of Joyner?s Funeral Home at 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway West, Wilson with Pastor Fred Jenkins, Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00AM ? 12:00PM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
