United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Lana Messer Bass; two sons, Randal Chandler Bass and Wesley Reed Bass, all of New Albany; his paternal grandfather, Gerald Bass of New Albany; his maternal grandmother, Janie Settlemires of Ripley; two sisters, Elise Fyke (Harry) of Oxford and Toby Thomas (Steven) of Ripley and two brothers, Eric Waldon (Bethanne) of Ripley and Logan Bass of New Albany. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Randall Bass; his paternal grandmother, Joyce Bass and his maternal grandfather, Birt Settlemires. Pallbearers will be Eric Tate, Eric Waldon, Logan Bass, Anthony Rasberry, Andy Nolley and Dustin Jones.
