Lee Ray Bass
Lee Ray Bass, age 68, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Friday evening, May 26, 2000, at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Mr. Bass was a retired shop foreman with the Okaloosa County Road Department Motor Pool and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach and had resided in this area for the past 43 years.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Bass of Fort Walton Beach; his daughters, Judy Eddins of Gainesville, Ga., Susan Robinson of Newcastle, Pa., and Catherine Hoffman of Fort Walton Beach; his brothers, Jerry Bass and James H. Bass, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the McLaughlin Mortuary in Fort Walton Beach on Tuesday, May 30, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach on Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Howard Gates officiating. Interment will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach.
