Bobbie Ruth Bass Cordell
BEEBE - Bobbie Ruth Bass Cordell, age 87, passed away on December 28, 2019. She was born on November 20, 1932, to R.L. "Bob" and Ruth (Lane) Bass.
Miss Bobbie as she was known, was the superintendent's secretary and later the secretary for Beebe Public Schools. Miss Bobbie was known for her sweet demeanor and attention to detail.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Bobbie is survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law Robert Carl and Sharon Bass of Beebe. She is also survived by one nephew, Rob (Susie) Bass of Beebe and four nieces Carla (Jeff) Hillian of Greenbrier, Beth Jayroe (Darrell) of Tulsa, Okla., Amy Burns (Dewayne) of Austin, Ark., and Shannon Bass of Cabot. Aunt Bobbie had eight great-nieces and nephews, as well as ten great-great-nieces and nephews as well as looking forward to two more due in the spring. She had numerous cousins, friends and colleagues.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2019. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Burial will be in Butlerville Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.www.smithfamilycares.com.
