Staci Lorraine Bass, 51, of Ocoee, Florida passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Orlando Regional Medical Center, due to complication from her lung cancer.
Staci was born November 22, 1969, in Gainesville, Florida to Joseph and Ella Bass. She is a Santa Fe High School Alumni. Staci spent her time helping and caring for others, which was evident by her school volunteer work. She had a strong passion for books and was an avid reader. Staci worked for Yeehaw Travel Center for 21 years. She was working for Bradford Cederberg Law Firm at the time of her passing. Staci?s biggest achievement was the friends she made and her love for her family.
Staci is survived by her beloved children, Joseph and Sarah David, Joshua Alford, and Jessica Martin; Loving parents, Joseph, and Ella Bass; fiance' Christopher David; Siblings, Traci (Fred) Levin of Lake Worth, FL, Mark Bass of Kissimmee, FL, Steven Bass (Olga) of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and sister-in-law Ginny Bass of Gainesville, FL. Grandchildren Liam, and Aiden Sanchez, Cameron, Shawn, and Sophie Martin, and Kaiden, and Jackson Alford. Aunt and Uncles, James Bass of Branford, FL, Billy Bass of Bell, FL, Lamar Bass of Bell, FL, and Brian Barkman of High Springs, FL. Her 6 Nieces, Brittany, Kirsten, Taylor, Ariel, Sasha, Sundee, and 6 Nephews, Justin, Daniel, Jacob, Buddy, Nicholas, Cody. As well as numerous cousins and loved ones. Staci is preceded in death by her brother Scott Bass.
We would like to express our thanks to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Staci. Also, Bradford Cederberg Law Firm for everything they did for Staci before and after her death. They were incredibly generous and kind.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2021, 12pm at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. The family will receive friends starting at 11 am. Interment will follow in Orlando Memorial Gardens.
