Hugh Novey Bass
Hugh Novey Bass, 81, of Hutchinson, died on April 21, 2018, in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born on March 1, 1937, to Noble and Pearl (Hunt) Bass in Hutchinson.
Hugh was the owner and operator of a trucking company. He retired after 56 years of business. Hugh has resided in the Hutchinson community for over 76 years.
Hugh held a membership to the Wheatstate Chapter, Truck Organization.
Preceding him in death are: his parents; his wife, Bonnie; seven siblings; and one son, Scott Bass.
Survivors include: three children, Sam (Taylor) Bass, Marvin (Lona) Bass and Jeanne Bass, all of Hutchinson; two siblings, Gwenelle Nickels and Jack Bass; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018, from 1 to 8 p.m., with family greeting guests from 5 to 7:00 p.m., at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 27th, at 1:30 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Avenue. Harold Wagler will be presiding.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
