Shirley M. Bass
TULSA, Okla. ? Shirley M. Bass, 52, died here Saturday, Oct. 8 after a lengthy illness.
A former resident of Hot Springs, she was a long time resident of Tulsa where she was a member of the John Knox Presbyterian Church and was past president of the Women?s Auxiliary NCCJ. She also did volunteer work for Tulsa Physically Limited and the Gatesway Foundation.
Survivors include her husband, James D. Bass of Tulsa; one daughter, Janet Renberg of Tulsa; one son, James D. Bass Jr. of Tulsa, her mother-in-law, Thelma Oaks of Hot Springs; and her brother-in-law, Earl Bass of Hot Springs.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Knox Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be in Floral Haven Memorial Garden in Tulsa under the direction of Tulsa-Whisenhunt Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
