Durant Daily Democrat, Oklahoma, Wednesday, 22 January 1919
News of the death of Mrs. Amos Bass, of Cado, was received here yesterday afternoon. She had been sick some time with influenza-pneumonia. Her death will be sincerely regretted here, for she was a noble hearted, Christian woman, and was loved and esteemed by every one who knew her. The family are among the most prominent in this section. Funeral services are to be held this afternoon at Caddo. A number of our citizens will attend the services. Besides her husband, she leaves three children, ages two, four and six. To the bereaved ones we extend the deepest sympathy.
