ROCK FALLS ? Martha R. Bass, age 81, died Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
Martha was born on March 19, 1938 in Dixon the daughter of Emmert and Florence Mae (Baer) Finch. She married Raymond F. Bass on September 11, 1970. He died January 14, 2017. She was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls.
Survivors include, two daughters, Bernie Giblin of Sterling and Terrie (Jim) Sampson of Harmon; five sons, Jim (Joan) Giblin of Dixon, Randy Bass of Chandler, Ariz., Mike (Wendi) Bass of Deer Grove, Tim (Sandy) Bass of Mesa, Ariz. and Andy (Kristi) Bass of Rock Falls; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two half-sisters; four half-brothers.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00PM Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice and Home.
