Otha Jackson Bass, 59, retired farmer, died today at the home of his son, Robert Bass, in the Perth Church community near Troutman. He had been in failing health for about five years and seriously ill for two weeks. Surviving are three children, Robert and Earle Bass, Route 1, Troutman, Mrs. Malcolm Previtte of Fairmont; one brother and three sisters. Funeral plans are incomplete.
