Bass, 66, retired farmer, died today at Long?s hospital where he had been undergoing treatment for heart trouble for 18 days. He had been in declining health for three years. Mr. Bass spent most of his life on his farm in Chambersburg township. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Emma Murdock, and six children; two brothers and three sisters. Funeral will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran church, Troutman, of which he was a member. Burial will be in St. Michael?s cemetery.
