Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Retha Harrelson Bass; a son, Hallon Bass Jr. of Mullins; daughters, Mrs. Grady (Martha) Cook and Mrs. Walter (Janet) Price, both of Dillon; Mrs. Ronnie (Linda) Bethea and Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Shackleford, both of Marion, and Mrs. William (Dean) Poston, Mrs. J.w. (Debbie) Lee, Ms. Dora Lee Wright and Ms. Cynthia Bass, all of Mullins; stepsons, Gerald, Joe, Bobby and Frank Harrelson, all of Charlotte; a ste-daughter, Mrs. Freddie (Joann) Fowler of Charlotte; brothers, Eddie C. and Jenerette Bass, both of Fairmont; and sisters, Mrs. Mable Johnson of Fairmont and Mrs. Docia Stephens of Wilmington, N.C. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Cox-Collins Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Cedardale Cemetery.
