Mangum and Co., a native of Nash County, and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are stepsons, Charles E. Brantley of Lynchburg, Va., David W. Brantley of Henderson, Billy E. and Ralph C. Brantley of Wendell; step-daughters, Mrs. Nancy Sykes of Spring Hope, Mrs. Janet Radford of Henderson, Mrs. Nellie Rose and Mrs. Carolyn Perry of Zebulon; sisters, Mrs. Alma B. Coggins of Raleigh, Mrs. Florine B. Brannon of Greensboro, Mrs. Dorothy B. Knott of Potlach, Idaho, Mrs. Virginia B. Register of Newport News, Va.; brothers, Dwight Bass of Potlatch, Idaho, Curtis Bass of Spring Hope, John Bass of Burlington. The family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.
