  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Oscar Eudoctious Bass Funeral services for Oscar E. Bass, 68, of 1630 3rd Ave, who died Sunday in a local hospital, were conducted today at Brown-Service Norwood Chapel, with Rev. Charles C. Bowles officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. A native of Birmingham, Mr. Bass served as secretary of local 725 before retiring from the Birmingham Transit Co. He was a member of the "Old Faithful" Sunday School Class at the Hunter Street Baptist Church. He is the son of, Robert Monroe Bass and Nancy (Goodwin) Bass. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nell Nix Bass, a son Gene Bass, three sisters; Mrs. Nora Woods of Lakeshore, Ohio, Mrs. Lela Wilson and Mrs. Cora Blackstock, both of Birmingham; and two brothers, Joe and Malone Bass of Birmingham.
