He was born in Strong, Ark. He was a member of Community Christian Church. SURVIVORS: Wife, Alice Bass of McCamey; sons, Ivy Bass Jr. of McCamey, Fred Guevara and Cruz Guevara, both of Odessa; daughters, Rosa Martinez of Rankin, Martha Garcia and Rosella Autry, both of Odessa, Sandra Muniz of Arizona, Nancy Guevara of San Ygnacio, Dolores Urias of Presidio, Jeanette Powell and Teresa Martin, both of Clyde, Amy Robinson, Lynn Crawford and Rose Edwards, all of Big Springs, and Cindy Simonds of Oklahoma; brothers, James Bass and Cecil Bass, both of Strong, Ark., and Jessie Bass of Odessa; sister, Faye Bass of Hope, Ark.; 43 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
