Bass-Gordon
Karen Lynn Bass married Richard Lynn Gordon of Thomasville Saturday at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. The bride?s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marlen L. Bass of Center Street, received in the fellowship hall.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Gordon of Thomasville, attended Davidson County Community College and is employed by George T. Wood and Sons, High Point.
A graduate of Appalachian State University, the bride is a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and teaches at Sedgefield Elementary School.
She was attended by Elaine Armfield of Mount Airy, honor attendant; Gordon?s sisters, Janet Crane; Debbie Kinley of Liberty; Joan Williams of Fuquay-Varina; Pam Earles, Michelle Hall and Julie Smith.
Gordon?s father was best man. The bride?s brother, Tony Bass, ushered with Don Gilliam of Denver; Donnie Hill, Scott Raines and Steve Clark, all of Thomasville, and James Hall.
