Funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park. She was a native of Spartanburg, S.C., a member of Bessemer Baptist Church and attended Florida Street Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Clyde and Marlen Bass Jr. of Greensboro; daughters, Mrs. Jean Hall and Mrs. Dorothy Layton of Greensboro; brothers, Charlie and Malcolm Miller of Greensboro; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the home of Mrs. Jean Hall, 2121 Murrayhill Road. Memoarisl may be made to the American Heart Fund or the Greater Greensboro Diabetes Association.
