Danny Bass, 66, of Waxhaw, died at his residence on November 17, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 9, 1952 in Mecklenburg County to the late David and Margaret Bass.
A Memorial Service and reception to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Open Book Baptist Church in Monroe officiated by Mitchell Griffin. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
Danny was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He and his wife, Elaine, who was the love of his life, enjoyed eating out and traveling together, especially taking the grandkids to the beach during the summer. He was a hard worker, spending his career days as a machinist in the piping industry. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many.
In addition to his wife, Elaine, Danny is survived by two daughters: Donna Veneziano; Angel Whittaker and husband Scott and their children Matthew, Cody and Bethany Whittaker; Stepsons: Bob Henderson and wife Terri and their children Jessica Billions and husband Zack and their children Zoey and Brent Billions; Michael Henderson and wife Alana ; Allen Henderson and wife Alicia and their children Alexis and Peyton Henderson.
